Bon voyage - a retirement card for a friend or colleague with travel plans
Make this fun card by paper piecing the stamped images and using 2nd generation images
Use black ink to stamp the plane and suitcase onto white cardstock then stamp both image again multiple times onto different pieces of patterned paper.
Trim around the edge of the images on white cardstock leaving a narrow borders then select which patterns you’d like on the different areas of your images.
To minimise the amount of fussy cutting think about the patterns in layers, in this case cut out the whole case then the stickers separately from another pattern and add on top, this is easier than trying to cut around the stickers.
Use a fine-tip glue bottle to adhere all of the paper pieces to the images stamped onto white cardstock. Once everything is adhered cut around the images leaving narrow borders.
Select a few of the free stamps and ink that co-ordinates with your choice of patterned paper and stamp them on the card front as shown using first and second generations of ink.
Use black ink to stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock adding a sketchy outline in a banner shape and trim to size. Add all of the elements to the card front using 3D foam pads to finish.
