Blue Filigree Card With Handmade Flowers To Say Love You
Learn how to make this beautiful card with die-cutting, inks, flower making, ribbons and gems
Create a blue background using the blue-toned Distress Ink and glycerine.
Die-cut the large frame from the blue cardstock, low-tack tape the overlay dies to the shape and die-cut.
Cut a cream frame using the two outer frame dies and add onto the blue overlay.
Die-cut the tag from cream cardstock and stamp the sentiment onto it using black ink. Cut a pink heart using the Diamond Press die and attach to the tag, then affix the tag as shown.
Tie bows from the ribbon and layer the pink onto the gold using hot glue. Attach the bow to the card front as shown, adding the gem to the centre.
Cut the easel base from cream cardstock, carefully lining up the filigree dies to match the card front, then low-tack tape into place and cut. Use Stick & Stay to attach the card front to the easel base.
Cut the smaller frame die and the smaller filigree die from the blue cardstock from Step 1, then turn the filigree die 180˚ and cut again. Trim away any excess and attach to the easel base as shown.
Die-cut the flowers from cream cardstock, tint the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and shape the flowers.
Assemble the two larger flowers as shown, then punch three circles from pink cardstock and add them to the centre of the flowers. Secure the flowers onto the easel base to finish.
