Birthday rocket - a fun penny-slider card for the birthday boy

Create a white 14cm-square card blank. Stamp, cut out and affix a cloud towards the top of a 13cm-square panel of polka dot cardstock.

Die-cut a circular aperture from the centre of the polka dot panel and die-cut a smaller circle of blue cardstock.

Cut shapes from turquoise cardstock and affix them onto the blue circle. Layer a stamped and die-cut sentiment on top and embellish it with sequins.

Stamp, colour and cut out the rocket from white cardstock. Affix two pennies together with a 3D foam pad and adhere the rocket on top.

Attach the aperture panel and earth onto the card front using 3D foam tape, ensuring it remains clear of the edges. Slot the rocket into the aperture to finish.
