Big Softee Teddy Bear
Cut two heads, two ears, four legs and four arms from cream felt using the die-set and Big Shot Express machine.
Die-cut a mouth from brown felt and a nose from grey felt scraps. Cut two dress panels from printed fabric and set aside.
Stitch eyes and the mouth onto the head piece. (See Fig 1.)
Place two ear pieces right sides together and stitch around edge, leaving the bottom edge open. (See Fig 2.)
Place two arm pieces right sides together and stitch along the edge, leaving the top end open. Repeat this for the other arm and then both legs. Clip and notch the curves and turn through. (See Fig 3.) Gently stuff them to desired firmness and set aside.
Attach one head piece to one dress piece, repeat this for back of softee. Placing right sides together. (See Fig 4.)
Pin the ears to head piece, sew into place, pin the arms onto the body and sew in place. Pin the legs to the body and sew into place (See Fig 5.)
Pin the front and back body together, right sides together, leaving the bottom edge open for turning. Sew into place and turn through. (See Fig 6.)
Gently stuff the head and body to desired firmness and slip-stitch the bottom edge to finish.
