1

Remove the chipboard pieces from the packaging and read the instructions to get a good idea of how to put the birdcage together.

2

Mix a small amount of water with gesso on a craft mat and paint a light coat onto both sides of the die-cut chipboard pieces.

3

Paint a layer of texture paste onto the outer parts of the birdcage pieces and allow them to dry naturally.

4

Apply ink to the script stamp, stamp it once onto scrap paper and then stamp it directly onto the die-cut pieces

5

Add a light layer of tacky glue to the joints of the elements and carefully adhere them together and allow them to dry.

6

Affix brads onto the door of the birdcage to represent hinges and a handle, adding a key to the handle.

7

Use an ink-blending tool to lightly sponge Watering Can ink onto the edges of the assembled birdcage to add dimension

8

8 Die-cut the leaves from white cardstock, cover them with Distress Ink and, once dry, start to affix them along with the paper flowers onto the birdcage.

9

Embellish the flowers with glitter paint, add Glossy Accents, glitter and gesso and allow them to dry to finish
