Beautiful Gold Birdcage With Birds Happy Birthday Easel Card

Colour a piece of stamping card with Distress Ink, adding the colours in patches and blending using glycerine. Spritz with plenty of water and drop the rock salt crystals onto the wet card, allowing to dry completely before removing the crystals.

Cut the dry background card to size, then die-cut the easel base and front from cream cardstock.

Die-cut the birdcage from kraft cardstock and apply gilding wax to the cage and the edges of the frame, trimming out the bird.

Affix the kraft cardstock overlay onto the background card, then add the overlay topper onto the cream card front.

Cut the two birds from cream cardstock and affix as shown. Punch six small hearts and add as shown.

Tie the bows, affix and add the heart gem to the centre of the bows.

Attach the card front to the easel base, then die-cut the foliage from kraft cardstock. Place it on the opposite side of the frame, run it through the die-cutting machine again, then adhere to the easel base.

Stamp the sentiment onto blue cardstock using VersaFine ink. Cut the sentiment to size, shade the edges with gilding wax, add to cream cardstock and trim.

Add two punched hearts to the sentiment banner, secure in place on the easel base as using 3D glue gel and allow to dry.
