Baby’s 1st Christmas - a cute card for a special baby
See how to make this cute card using patterned papers, punched paper edges, die cut layers and scenery, and a stamped and coloured focal image.
1
Layer the card front with patterned paper, leaving a narrow border. Punch a decorative edge into a 14cm strip of red cardstock, affix a 5x14cm border of contrasting paper on top and mount it onto the card front.
2
Stamp the baby onto white cardstock, colour it, then die-cut it into a stitched circle. Matt the topper onto contrasting die-cut circles and use 3D foam pads to affix it to the card front.
3
Die-cut a border of green trees, attach it to the card front using 3D foam pads and embellish the design with gems as shown.
4
Stamp the sentiment onto a white cardstock, die-cut it into a stitched rectangle and secure it to the card front to finish.
