Connect the die-cutting machine to your PC and log on to your Design Space account. Open a new project, search for ‘Split Monograms’ from the cartridge list in the image library and select the letter of your choice.

2

Add a square and resize it to fit as a backing for the frame. Resize the image to fit the deep frame.

3

Add the desired text, select a font and resize it to fit between the monogram.

4

Cut the monogram layer from the green cardstock and Sparkle Paper, the backing from white cardstock and the name from vinyl, adjusting the material setting accordingly.

5

Carefully remove the images from the cutting mat using the spatula, slowly bending the mat away from the image.

6

Affix the split monogram layers together using PVA glue and then hot-glue them onto the white cardstock. Once dry, position the cardstock into the frame and seal the back.

7

Use a weeding tool and BrightPad to remove the unwanted vinyl, leaving the name. Use Strong Grip Transfer Tape to position the name across the monogram on the glass front.
