Letter To Santa Card
This intricate retro Santa die and easy to use toppers are perfect to build your die-cutting skills
You will need
- Retro Santa die set & downloads from CraftWorld
- white cardstock
- Berry Red & Blush Winsor & Newton ProMarkers
- green Spectrum Noir alcohol markers
- HB pencil
- 3D foam tape
- 3D foam pads
- computer & printer
- Xcut Large Nesting Oval die set
Cut white cardstock to 15x30cm and score at 7.5cm and 15cm along the short edge.
Print the red snowflake design, cut two 7x14.5cm pieces and adhere them to the front panels of the card.
Cut white cardstock to 10cm square. Print the red and blue striped design, cut a 9.5cm - square piece and layer onto the card square. Adhere to the front of the card, gluing to the lower section of the easel only.
Die-cut the layered Santa using white cardstock, colouring the hat with the Berry Red marker and Santa's face with the Blush marker. Colour the open mouth using a HB pencil.
Print the sentiment sheets and cut out the envelopes and stamps. Secure to the card front along the Santa, using 3D foam pads where necessary.
Cut the 'Naughty or Nice' topper using the smallest oval die. Cut a holly die cut from white cardstock, colour with Berry Red and green markers and add to the topper using 3D foam pads.
Cut a 1cm strip of red and blue striped cardstock and adhere to the front edge of the card. Add a topper using 3D foam pads to form the easel topper.
TOP TIP
Ensure that your easel is flat when adding the layers.
